Our team here at Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort is excited to lead your insightful and interactive hike to the summit of Stone Mountain the first Saturday of every month!
At no cost, join a group of fellow revelers as we hike the 1-mile trek! Then, join your new hiking buddies for a celebratory lunch at the Waterside Restaurant located inside of the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort with our courtesy 10% off dining voucher. Register today to secure your spot!

10:30 AM Meet in Lobby
11:00 AM Meet at Base Trail
11:15 AM Begin Mountain Ascent
12:00 PM Begin Mountain Descent
12:45 PM Meet at Base Trail
1:00 PM Lunch at Waterside Restaurant
Please Note:
- Emergency call boxes are located along the trail and in the parking lot.
- Pets are not allowed on the Walk-Up Trail.
- This trail is not recommended for people with limiting physical conditions and is not wheelchair accessible.
- Appropriate closed-toe footwear should be worn.
- Dress appropriately.
- The mountain is very slippery when wet.
- No strollers.
- Flashlights are recommended.
- Bathrooms at the top of the summit will be closed at the time of hike; resort lobby bathrooms will be available.
- Bottled water is available for purchase at the resort’s Gift Shop located in the front lobby.
- Power bars are available for purchase at the resort’s Gift Shop located in the front lobby.
